Lexicon Frisicum (Online)

Het Lexicon Frisicum (1872) is een Fries woordenboek samengesteld door Johann Halbertsma. Het biedt een uitgebreide verzameling Oudfriese en modern Friese woorden, inclusief betekenissen, etymologie en verwijzingen naar historische teksten. Dit is een online en toegankelijke versie van (een deel van) het woordenboek. De Latijnse metataal van het woordenboek is daarvoor (op dit moment slechts gedeeltelijk) vertaald naar het Fries en/of Nederlands. Soms zijn ook Griekse teksten vertaald. The Lexicon Frisicum (1872) is a Frisian dictionary compiled by Johann Halbertsma. It provides a comprehensive collection of Old and modern Frisian words, including meanings, etymology and references to historical texts. This is an online and accessible version of the dictionary. For this purpose, the Latin meta-language of the dictionary has been (at this moment only partially) translated into Frisian and/or Dutch. Sometimes Greek texts have also been translated.
